James Bond Product Placement

Published on May 4, 2011 by   ·   1 Comment

James Bond is back with a stellar supporting cast: Aston Martin, BMW, and other powerhouse brands.

Daniel Craig will reprise his role as agent 007, and he will share the screen with $45 million worth of product placements. The massive investments have drawn a sneer from some critics, who believe that the advertising parts of the production have gone too far.

Its no surprise, especially since MGM—the studio of the movie—is reportedly having financial problems. The new Bond flick will carry the highest monetary amount of product placements in movie history. The record was previously held by Minority Report at $20 million.
