More car product placements in the latest Transformers flick

“Transformers: Dark of the Moon” will be hitting cinemas soon, complete with an array of robots and product placements.

The third installment to the Transformers saga comes with a slew of auto makes, including Chevrolet, Ferrari, Mercedes Benz and many more.

Chevy is one of the movie’s biggest clients. The automotive manufacturer was also present in the previous two films. Its integrations even included the Chevy Volt, which appeared in the movie before the dealerships.

But perhaps Chevrolet’s biggest score is Bumblebee, a yellow Camaro (which was actually a Volkswagen Beatle in the animated series). According to sources, Chevy’s association with the Transformers franchise has translated to better sales, particularly with Camaros.
