Nowadays, most shows welcome product placement and brands relish the opportunity.
However, this is not the case for the reality TV show, Jersey Shore. Reports claim that Abercrombie & Fitch, a clothing company, has paid Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino a lot of money to not wear its products and accessories.
“We are deeply concerned that Mr. Sorrentino’s association with our brand could cause significant damage to our image,” said the company in a press statement. “We understand that the show is for entertainment purposes, but believe this association is contrary to the aspirational nature of our brand, and may be distressing to many of our fans.”
Abercrombie & Fitch has offered “The Situation” a substantial payment to wear a different brand. The clothing retailer also offered producers of the show to make their characters wear a different brand.
As of press time, the show has yet to respond.

Looks like we have a situation “AF”!
Eutese Mario Barnes…you have a lot of situations. If you and your accomplice Joe Ewert would stop scamming and stealing from people you would have less.
People that watch this show are so sad and good on A&F for showing some intregity. Watching losers from jersey get drunk and then emulating the same sort of stuff? The population is extermley depressed or have low self esteem.
