Want to get your product in the hands of a celebrity? Then you have to do a lot of work.
First, compile a list of celebrities who you think will like your product. Contact all those celebrities—go through their agents, publicists, and managers if you have to. Give them all the information they need—what the product looks like, what it does, and the image you want to achieve for the brand. If you can, send samples.
Justify why the product would complement the image of the targeted celebrity.
After that it becomes a waiting game. In some occasions, following up consistently can go a long way, but read the situation first.
Once the celebs have confirmed, it’s only a matter of when and where the placement will take place. At a Hollywood event or at a street corner for the paparazzi to see? It’s all up to you then.
