Justin Bieber wants a Nintendo 3 DS for Christmas

Published on December 6, 2011 by   ·   No Comments

Product placement is becoming a vital marketing strategy for big-name brands. Nintendo, for instance, is pushing for a big Christmas campaign with Justin Bieber, the teenage pop icon.

In the latest “All I want for Christmas” rendition, the young Bieber sings with Mariah Carey to celebrate the holiday season. For the first
minute of the vid, the 17-year-old gives flirty stares to the 41-year-old (creepy). In just about the two-minute mark, Bieber interacts with a Nintendo 3 DS.

Take note: the 3 DS has yet to hit the shopping shelves. This video might just gather the buzz it needs to have a successful Christmas campaign.

In the past, Nintendo has been known to ramp up its advertising efforts during Christmas. So it does not come as a surprise to see them working with the Bieber fever.
