With 45 brands, box-office hit “New Year’s Eve” comes with plenty of product placement and branded entertainment.

The film takes place in New York’s Times Square as the New Year’s Eve ball drops. The wide city shots included numerous views of landmarks and signs across the Square.

In addition to these brand signs, the movie is also a canvas for New York names and brands, including the city’s famous radio station WNYC.

While there were many brands in the movie, very few shined as much as Nivea. The skin and body care company was listed as the official sponsor of the Times Square New Year Ball. There were numerous product placements of the brand as the clock turned twelve o’clock for 2012.
