Nokia banks on branded entertainment

Published on December 21, 2011 by   ·   No Comments

Nokia and Windows have joined forces to create the Nokia Lumia 800, a revolutionary phone that will be released in the United States next year.

To promote the brand and the phone, Nokia is producing a small web series titled “Little Amazing Shows.” The program will center on innovative ideas, which will compel its viewers. Episodes were shot in different locations, including Berlin, London, and Madrid.

Critics, however, say that the promotion efforts are built to cover a product that was only developed in just nine months. In addition to that, some experts feel that the phone does not have enough features to outshine other smart phones in the market.

Currently, Microsoft and Nokia are preparing for a next-generation mobile unit that will be released next year. The phone is codenamed Apollo.
