Wige Media invests in branded entertainment

Wige Media is joining the branded entertainment band wagon.

The German production company recently added a new television division, Wige Entertainment. It will produce reality, lifestyle, and magazine formats for the international audiences.

Sources claim that the productions will be integrated with Wige’s advertising clients, particularly those in the auto industry. Some of the marquees include: Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW.

The new arm will give the company more production tools. Prior to that, it only specialized in commercials and broadcast feeds of live events.

A spokesperson for the company said that the new move will make clients happier.
