Of the 40 top box-office films in the US Box Office in 2011, nearly 43 percent featured Apple product placements, including iPads, MacBooks, and iMacs.
Tied for second place are Dell, Chevrolet, and Ford followed by Cadillac, Coca-Cola, and Mercedes Benz for at third place.

Apple never pays for product placement? Sheesh, wouldn’t we all like to be in such demand. Or, is it that the producers feel so strongly about the Apple choice in putting forward the film/TV narrative in their production that they don’t care whether or not they get cash for the placement? It’s a good thing that not all brands are Apple-like or there would be no product placement industry! Apple makes fine products and their design standards are top-notch. Apple is “cool”.
Of course, and all “good guys” in movies drive Volvo for free, because safety is a paramount!
