NBCUniversal names new VP for branded entertainment

NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution has appointed Meredith Jane Momoda as its new Vice President for branded entertainment.

Momoda will be responsible for securing product integration deals for NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution’s first-run shows. She will also develop new processes and strategies to improve integration.

“Meredith has more than 20 years of executive level experience in branded entertainment; most recently at OWN, in addition to TLC, YAHOO! and ABC Television,” said Linda Finnell, SVP Programming and Development for NBCUniversal Domestic TV Distribution. “I am truly looking forward to having her join our team and tapping into her expertise.”

“I’m thrilled to be joining the team at NBCU and to work on branded entertainment opportunities for both established franchises like ‘Access Hollywood’ and exciting new programming with ‘Steve Harvey,’” said Momoda.

Most recently, Momoda worked at the Oprah Winfrey Network.
