Sims can now drive in Nissan vehicles. Or see banners of them around the city at least.

SimCity, an open-ended city-building game, has released new downloadable content that comes with a Nissan Leaf product placement. The auto manufacturer has teamed up with Maxis, the game’s developer, for the advertisement.

The DLC lets gamers create Nissan Leaf charge points in their respective cities. The charge stations increase the happiness of nearby Sim citizens, while producing zero pollution and waste.

“Plopping down the Nissan Leaf Charging Station will add happiness to nearby buildings,” described the developers. “Adding the Charging Station will not take power, water or workers away from your city.”

It continues: “Zoom in to the streets of cities and players will start seeing a percentage of their Sims from all wealth classes driving the electric vehicles. The Charging Station produces no garbage or sewage as well making it pollution free.”
