[PRNewswire press release] — Digital Brand Media & Marketing Group, Inc. (OTCQB: DBMM) is implementing its Business Plan with increased activity and business development. Specifically, the Company continues to make strides in new market sectors and most recently has been in discussions with major managements in the music and entertainment sector.

Last month, Steve Baughman, Co-Chief Operating Officer and Head of US Operations travelled to Europe to attend a number of meetings with major names in the music industry both in London, England and Stockholm, Sweden. The meetings were in part, new opportunities as well as an on-going series of future and deeper engagement with companies seeking to collaborate in the increasing convergence of music and digital media and the shift in how consumers are engaging with both the music and the artist. The sector has been evolving at warp speed so a balance must be struck between what has staying power and what are short-term fads.

There will be a series of meetings which have been scheduled to take place the last week of June in New York to take matters to the next stage of the business development cycle. Further announcements will be made in due course where it is deemed there is no breach of commercial sensitivity for both DBMM Group and its identified partners.

DBMM closed its 3rd operating and financial quarter on May 31, 2013 which will be summarized in the 10-Q to be filed in mid-July.
