Vimto is launching a multi-million pound branded entertainment campaign this summer targeting its brand to teenagers.
The brand’s ad spot will be unveiled in June and it will be flanked by social media, sampling, promotions, as well as in-store POS. It will also be advertised on numerous sites, including MTV and other music-sharing sites.
“Our summer marketing campaign links up all the different types of media we’re investing in to ensure we reach 90 per cent of teens in the UK, who will see the activity 12 times,” explained Claire Pritchard, Vimto’s brand manager. “It will enable us to build on our Facebook following of over 365,000 fans and continue to engage with them to create year round demand.”
Pritchard says that the campaign will also promote the brands to shoppers by increasing opportunities for purchase.
Vimto also forged a partnership with vevo, Sony’s music video website, for advertising and sponsorships.
