Man of Steel has $160-million worth of product placements

“Man of Steel” will be debuting in theaters next week. While the much-anticipated reboot of the Superman franchise has yet to break box-office records, it can already count on $160-million from product placement deals.

Reports say that Warner Bros. has forged partnerships and tie-ins with multiple world-class companies. Some of the product placements in the movie include Nokia, Warber Parker eyeglasses, and special edition vehicles from Chrysler UK.

As of late, numerous big-budget movies have been investing in product placements. Most recently, “The Great Gatsby” featured numerous products, including Tiffany & Co. as well as Moet & Chandon. Other notable movies to feature product placements include: Skyfall and Battleship.
